Fiona Oliver-Watkins has announced she will be stepping down as Head Teacher of Chichester High School for Girls. Chairman of governors, Simon Elliot, said her decision is to “make way for new leadership as the school moves toward academy status”.
The school announced its plans to achieve academy trust status next academic year.
Yasmin Maskatiya, who is currently the Head at Thomas Bennett Community College will take up the position of Executive Head Teacher prior to the appointment of a new Head Teacher. Lynne Gibson, who is currently deputy head teacher, will take up the job of head of school.
