We are looking for a Build Accreditation Supervisor to oversee the smooth and efficient running of the build accreditation site for Members' Meeting, Festival of Speed and Revival this year.
You will play a crucial role as your duties will include ensuring that all contractors have the appropriate accreditation to access the event site(s). You'll need support the team of Assistants with checking documentation carefully and confidently challenge anyone who does not have the correct paperwork. You'll also need to respond to emails, telephone calls and radio communications promptly and oversee the office area to ensure it is clean, tidy and welcoming for visitors.
You will be interacting with guests, contractors, staff and members of the public so great people and communication skills are crucial. We are looking for a positive, friendly and organised person with a "can do" attitude who is used to working in a fast paced environment. If you have previously supervised people, that would be an advantage.
The hours will vary depending on agreed shift patterns and you need to be available for 3 - 6 days per week - as the event build becomes busier, you'll be required for more hours/days. You must be available to work:
We welcome people from all backgrounds, however, due to the nature of the events and the lengths of some of the shifts, we cannot accept applications from people under the age of 16. Please note that if your application is successful, shifts will be prioritised to those that can work every day of each event.
Goodwood is in a rural location and has restricted access by public transport, so reliable transport is essential.
