Tennyson is a private limited company, majority owned by the Summit Group PLC. Founded in 1998 our business has evolved in order to bring new value to our clients. To achieve this we need a combination of creativity and process discipline. Therefore we seek to recruit and develop staff with high competence in both respects. Tennyson is a great team of people who work hard and play hard. We're a talented, diverse group who strive to be the best that we possibly can. We help our clients to deliver change and therefore life at Tennyson can be pretty fast moving. It's important that people who join us are flexible and entrepreneurial in spirit. We thrive on making things happen and doing things differently but we focus on what will give the best result for our client. Reward and recognition are a big part of our culture and we regularly get together to celebrate our successes and "wins." What does Tennyson do? We specialise in finding innovative and challenging solutions for our clients. Essentially, we're an outsourced sales specialist, capable of responding to the market much more nimbly than our clients. Our clients describe us as a sales engine. We help them to sell more and we can lower their sales costs. We do this by providing bespoke sales and account management teams who typically operate under our client's brands. These teams can be desk or field based. We commit to risk and reward contracts and have a strong track record of increasing our clients' profitability. But that's not all. We also have an exceptionally strong customer service ethos and are able to provide a unique environment and solution to clients who require "ambassadors" to promote their products, services and brand. It should briefly cover the following four topics: • Your reasons for wanting to work at Tennyson and the role in question - why this job, and why is Tennyson right for you? • We admire people who create change and leave things better than they find them, so briefly tell us about a situation in your work or personal life where you took the initiative and made something happen. • Tell us about a problem you solved recently. What was the issue and what was your solution? We're looking for people that take on challenges and sort them out. Again, this could be from your work or personal life. • When it comes to work and your career - what are you passionate about? You should also send your most up to date CV, making sure you put details of your previous work experience as well as information about exams and grades. Please note that your CV should not be longer than 2 pages. Once you're ready, send your application via this website. Please note that we can't respond unless you take the time to write us a letter as outlined above.
