This is a substantive post to further develop the acute medical services in the elderly, particularly orthogeriatrics and falls. St Richard's Hospital is part of the newly formed Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust and the Trust is applying for foundation trust status and university status.The Western Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust is a new Trust, recently formed by the amalgamation of the highly performing Royal West Sussex Trust and Worthing and Southlands Hopsitals NHS Trusts, providing health care for nearly 500,000 people.
