Position:                   Day Hub Team Leader

Location:                  Bognor Regis, covering Arun area

Salary:                       £28,671 per annum

Hours:                       37hrs per week with flexible working to suit the needs of the role, and on occasion working evenings, weekends and bank holidays

We are looking for a highly motivated Team Leader to lead our day hub services, supporting the Community Outreach Manager with the coordination and delivery of our services.

This is an exciting role which requires you to have strength in leadership and managing challenging situations. The role will involve supervising and providing ongoing training and support for hub teams and working closely with other project teams to share best practice to provide trauma informed support to our clients.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate appropriate knowledge and experience of supporting homeless clients, some with mental ill health and substance misuse issues, to move into and maintain independent living.   

In order to be successful in this role you will need:

  • Develop and sustain effective and positive working relationships with a diverse range of partners to ensure positive outcomes for clients – advocacy work.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. IT skills necessary to undertake all administrative and reporting requirements.
  • Able to manage workload to meet a range of conflicting deadlines – and to support service manager.
  • Excellent crisis management skills and ability to deal with confrontational and stressful situations as a team leader to deescalate and manage the team and clients.
