Are you looking for part time work (20 hours a week approx)? Do you have experience talking to customers on the telephone and enjoy delivering excellent customer service? Are you confident making outbound calls to existing customers / our suppliers with a good attention to detail and organised approach? If so, we have a great opportunity to join our friendly team as our customers' first point of contact taking orders and contacting existing customers in our purpose-built factory fitted out with the latest high-tech pizza manufacturing equipment.

Contract: 6 months with the potential to extend / become permanent

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 10:00 – 14:00 (20 hours a week), however start/finish times could be flexible plus you may have the opportunity to work longer hours to cover for holiday and sickness


Your role will include:

  • Ensuring all customer orders are processed accurately and delivered according to customer requirements. 
  • Liaising with haulier to arrange collection and delivery of product.
  • Taking enquiries on the phone and processing key information to pass through to the sale team - gathering as much detail as possible about the prospect to ensure the sales team has as much detail as possible prior to initial contact
  • Building relationships with existing customers and identify opportunities through regular contact - taking the time to speak with customers and get to know the ranges they like and their businesses.
  • Calling existing customers to inform them about our new products - providing information as standard to our customers of any new ranges.

 

To be successful in this role you will need:

 

  • Strong organisational skills and proven background in working in a busy/high paced environment.
  • Excellent eye for detail
  • Communication - strong communication skills - comfortable speaking with customers professionally at all levels when pressures are high
  • Team player focused enough to excel against targets, the willingness to get 'stuck in' as and when required.


A bit about us:

La Pizza Company was founded in Kingston Upon Thames by Pietro Vitolo from Capri, Italy. He used his own Neapolitan family pizza dough recipes to produce high quality pizza dough and part baked pizza bases. Pietro moved to Midhurst in 2001 to expand the family owned business within a purpose-built factory fitted out with the latest high-tech pizza manufacturing equipment. This enabled the company to grow and mass produce consistent, high quality Neapolitan recipes to the current day and beyond. The current Directors took over the business in August 2006 and changed its name in March 2012 to Pan’Artisan.

Today we supply an ever-expanding list of wholesalers and distributors, who deliver our products throughout the UK. You’ll find us in all the best restaurants, pubs, cafés, hotels and leisure venues where the quality of product is a priority. Appropriate PPE is provided and full training is given for all areas of the specific role being undertaken.
