L'Arche Bognor Regis is an ecumenical Christian Community of people with and without learning disabilities, who live and work together.

We have one vacancy for a Live-out Care Assistant. The salary for the post is between £7.20 and £7.85 per hour. We are looking to employ one care assistant to provide 40 hours of support. We provide excellent training, competitive salary and pension.

The current supported people with learning disabilities living in the house expressed a desire to have someone "caring, kind and helpful", "does the job properly", someone who can be "helpful and wants to go with us on the house retreat", someone "responsible and can keep track of the diary". Could this be you?

Key skills:

• To be passionate about enabling people with learning disabilities to grow in their empowerment and independence
• Be a strong communicator
• Possess a desire to be a member of an ecumenical, Christian Community

It is desirable that you have at least one year experience of supporting people with learning disabilities or another vulnerable group. A clean, current UK or EU driving license is desirable.

You would need to be eligible to work in the UK.
