One post is 16 hours and one 18 hours. Both include one in three Saturdays for which a Saturday enhancement is paid.

We are looking for well-motivated people to work in the library at HMP Ford. With experience of working in a customer care environment, you will enjoy working with library customers and have excellent communication and organisational skills.

The role involves supervising offender assistants in the library, answering enquiries, stockwork, processing requests for books, entering details of new books on the library computer system and other library/clerical duties. You will be computer literate and have the ability to use your initiative.

The majority of the hours would be as the lone member of staff in the library.
