Would you like to play an important role in Chichester's award winning new museum and Tourist Information Centre, the Novium?

We are currently seeking an innovative and highly motivated Business Development Officer to join our friendly and dedicated team. The Business Development Officer will develop the Novium's existing income generating services and actively seek out new business opportunities. The successful applicant will be committed to providing exceptional customer service, have an entrepreneurial mind-set and experience of fundraising, venue hire and / or retail management.

The person appointed must possess at least two years' experience of working in a business or heritage sector environment (whether paid or voluntary work) and ideally a degree in business studies or similar. Experience of fundraising, venue hire, and/or retail management is essential. Previous experience of managing volunteers would also be an advantage.

Normal working hours for this post are 37 hours over a 5 day period. The post holder will be expected to work a rota as The Novium will be open up to 7 days per week.
