Graduate Teaching Assistant – Clocks & Horology
Location: West Dean College, Sussex
Contract: 10-month fixed term, part-time (7 hrs per week / 0.2 FTE)
Salary: £5,787.60 per annum

The Role
We are seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support the Horology Department on our Foundation and Graduate Diploma programmes. You will:
- Assist with workshop preparation and maintenance.
- Provide technical guidance to students.
- Support tutors with demonstrations and teaching resources.
- Contribute to student induction and engagement.
About You
- A recent graduate of the 2024–25 Clocks programme.
- Practical knowledge of horology at Foundation level or above.
- Strong organisational, teamwork, and facilitation skills.
- Awareness of current issues in the discipline.
- Ideally, experience of CAD in a horological context.
