What you’ll be doing

Customer Experience

  • Embrace and deliver the mission, vision, and values of CFT
  • Be the first point of contact for those attending performances
  • Offer a warm welcome and provide exceptional service to visitors
  • Provide information, scan tickets on entry doors, and assist with seating
  • Give assistance to visitors with disabilities as required
  • Resolve any queries where possible and refer to Duty Manager as needed
  • Receive feedback and compliments and share as appropriate
  • Ensure all public areas are well-presented and carry out tidying and cleaning duties, including post-show litter picking

Sales

  • Proactively and enthusiastically sell programmes, ice creams, sweets, and merchandise
  • Operate an EPOS (Electronic Point of Sale) system on a till or handheld device
  • Be responsible for balancing cash floats and cashing up takings

Health & Safety

  • Ensure that all public spaces are safe and secure for visitors and staff
  • Carry out the evacuation of the public in the event of an emergency in a calm and confident manner
  • Ensure that any illness or accidents involving the public are dealt with efficiently and reported accordingly
  • Deal with potential audience disruption during a performance
  • Carry out bag checks as required
