We are seeking a Horticultural Worker to work for our well established, further expanding company based on the outskirts of Chichester. This would suit an enthusiastic individual who has recently completed a horticultural/agricultural course and who is seeking their first permanent role.

An excellent command of the English language and good report writing skills would be required including previous experience of Microsoft Office & Word.

You will work as part of a close integral team in the production of crops and products, taking the product from the initial cultivation, harvesting and processing of the crop, identifying, monitoring & reporting on pest and disease, applying biological control materials, aiding in the production of work programmes, carrying out instructions, along with maintaining accurate records/tables of crops movements, maintaining health & safety. You will be a team player, have attention to detail with a high sense of integrity and be able to take clear instructions and undertake any necessary training.

Company operates 365 days a year, you will be working on a rota basis of around 39 hours a week (days) Monday to Friday with weekends on a rota basis (roughly 1 in 4) with some flexibility as and when required.

We are offering a competitive salary of £16,000 and after completion of a successful probation period of 3 months will rise to £18,000.
