Due to site expansion, opportunities have arisen for Technical Auditors to join our Technical Teams at our Selsey site. The role will involve working both day and night shifts with factory teams to maintain and improve customer and industry standards on our products via auditing. This is to ensure that we produce safe products to specification and that all appropriate factory processing paperwork is completed correctly and routinely.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• To ensure that NWF is compliant to current food safety and legal requirements by conducting a range of audits and completing reports based on the audits,

• To highlight any non conformances and issues to the appropriate team for resolution and closure to ensure we meet business, customer, food safety and legal requirements,

• To manage collation of samples for all production runs, NPD, trials and customer tests,

• Conducting a range of swabbing, air sampling, paperwork and process checks,

• Review the quality throughout the process against customer specifications.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

QA or similar experience working within the food industry, ideally experience in short shelf life products
Awareness and basic understanding of food manufacturing systems, including HACCP and BRC
Basic microbiology understanding
Internal auditing experience
Experience using MS Office
Ability to be flexible and work under pressure
Good communication skills

Hours:
This is a 12 hour shift based role to include both days and nights.

QUALIFICATIONS

Food safety level 2 or Basic Food Hygiene
Basic HACCP or understanding - desirable
Internal Auditing - desirable
Full UK driving license
