Schurter Ltd in Bognor Regis, West Sussex, UK is the sales branch for the UK and Ireland of SCHURTER ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS, headquarters in Switzerland, a worldwide acting industrial company with 40 country representations, 100 distributors and 1500 employees.

For the sales responsibilities of Southern England we are looking for a dedicated and capable Account Manager.

Working from our office in Bognor Regis, West Sussex and visiting existing and new customers during two to three days a week.

Starting date could be 1st April 2011

Your challenge:

• Develop sales goals and strategies to meet the organisation's objectives.
• Generate, track and win design-ins and NBO's (new business opportunities)
• Develop and maintain effective distributor relationship within assigned area
• Customer satisfaction, sales result and design-ins
• Cold calling (establish relevant purchasing and engineering contacts at new potential customers)
• Data Management in SAP and CRM system

What we require:

• Good knowledge of the electronic component market in Southern UK
• Good knowledge of the EMC market in Southern UK
• Prior experience in field sales and customer service function
• Engineering or technical electronic / electrical background
• Ability and willingness for extensive travel within the sales territory
• Self-motivated, flexible, professional, problem solver
