Business School Administrator (Business Hot House Project)

This role is funded by the European Union. Funding is fully secure until 31 September 2022

The University of Chichester is a friendly, flexible and welcoming university based in West Sussex. This role will be located in our state-of-the-art, Tech Park in Bognor Regis.

The Business School is looking for a Project Administrator to take full responsibility for providing an efficient, effective and professional administrative support for all aspects of the Business Hot House Project and project team. The Business Hot House Project is funded through the European Regional Development Fund and will provide business support across the Coast to Capital region. It will engage approximately 1000 businesses and 500 pre-start entrepreneurs as well as a number of stakeholders.

With the ability to prioritise and work under pressure, the post holder will have excellent communication skills, liaising with colleagues, stakeholders and delivery partners. You will work closely with the Business Hot House Project team, providing administrative support, maintaining and manipulating data and supporting the organisation of project events.

You will need to be a pro-active team member with a people focused approach, and able to work confidently with minimum supervision. The post is based at our Bognor Regis Campus but may require you to work at any centre where University business is conducted that is within reasonable distance of the campus base.

The university offers you a 37-hour working week; access to a range of training and development opportunities; discounted Gym membership; a generous Local Government Pension Scheme; 25 days'' holiday, Bank Holidays and University closure periods (e.g. between Christmas and the New Year).

The University of Chichester welcomes applicants from BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic) backgrounds as they are currently under represented at this level.

Informal enquiries are welcomed by Gareth Sear via e-mail G.Sear@chi.ac.uk or telephone 01243 812041.

Interview Date: 12 December 2019
