Harvey John are working with an established and growing client in the legal sector who are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager / Senior Legal Cashier to join their team in West Sussex.

Taking ownership of the legal cashiering function, the role is 'hands on' and with the opportunity to manage a small accounts team, reporting to the Finance Director.

This role would suit an experienced legal finance professional looking to learn and develop within a fresh environment where you can really make your mark.

Role and responsibilities

All aspects of legal cashiering including:

• Client account, in accordance with the Solicitors Accounts Rules
• Office, nominal and purchase ledger accounts
• Processing bank transactions
• Billing, WIP and disbursement management
• Credit control and cashflow management
• Bank reconciliations

Your background and experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience of all aspects of legal cashiering / legal accounts
• Excellent knowledge and experience of Solicitor's Accounts Rules
• Accuracy and attention to detail is vital
• A committed and responsible approach
• Willingness to learn and looking to develop your career
