Company Credit Controller

Extremely exciting opportunity for an experienced Credit Control professional to join a leading professional services firm in a newly created role. Our client, who are a reputable and well-known organisation within their sector, are looking for a driven sole credit controller to take charge of and develop their credit control function.

Our client provides expert financial and accountancy advice and business services on a highly personalised basis. The postholder will need to be able to adapt their stance and have a strategic approach to each situation and client.

Overview of duties:

• Taking a proactive role in managing and collecting debts
• Monitoring outstanding client balances; making informed decisions with the MDs of appropriate further action
• Contacting clients using a multitude of effective and efficient methods
• Building internal relationships with the client to ensure relevant information is gathered and analysed for efficient payment of invoices
• Ensuring timely payment of debts
• Responding to relevant client enquiries and resolving queries
• Reconciliation of debtor positions
• Preparation of statements and client status reports for relevant stakeholders
• Enhance and implement the credit control module processes via our CRM system
• Providing ad-hoc and administrative support to the Finance team

The ideal candidate will come from a professional services background and have extensive credit control experience and a strong background in debt management. They will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively build internal and external working relationships.

They will also be diplomatic, tactful, highly professional and IT literate.
