Due to the growth of our programme provision a number of opportunities have arisen to recruit new instrumentalists to join our vibrant team in the Department of Music. This position will be contributing to the University's undergraduate degree routes and work with mainly one to one tutoring. It's a fantastic chance to impart your knowledge and skills to other keen music specialists.

You will be required for up to 16 hours teaching during the semester (January to May). This role is on a fixed term hourly paid basis.

The programmes adopt a student centric approach to learning and teaching and successful candidates will have experience of delivering high quality, interactive teaching or training activities. The post holder will be required to fit into complex timetable provisioning and some flexibility will be required to ensure regular contact sessions with the students you are teaching.

Candidates must have an appropriate teaching /or equivalent professional qualifications and experience, with extensive recent relevant teaching / practical experience. It is anticipated that all staff will be engaged with the development of best practice in musical performance and its assessment, as well as in current developments in pedagogy.
