Applications are invited for the role of Head of University Communications, reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor. This is an exciting opportunity for a new post holder to take a lead role in communicating high profile events, projects and a number of key engagement initiatives on behalf of the University.

You will play a pivotal role in leading on the development and execution of a content strategy that builds the University's reputation amongst core audiences and key stakeholders. This will require the post holder to work closely with Directors and Heads of academic and professional service areas and to provide high-level professional support and advice to the Vice-Chancellor, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and members of the Vice-Chancellor's Group in their communications leadership roles.

You will have strong people and project management skills requiring first-class communications, technical ability, analytical skills, and a sound understanding and awareness of current direction and policy in the higher education sector.
