As a Senior Lecturer teaching on the PGCE Secondary programme, you will work alongside colleagues to lead the secondary Science routes. With proven expertise in teaching secondary Science (including Biology), you will play a full and active part in the range of activities that ensure high quality teaching and learning within the course and provide the academic support required to prepare the teachers of tomorrow.

You must hold Qualified Teacher Status and have a proven and successful track record in teaching in higher education and/or secondary schools. You should have a broad range of skills to be able to demonstrate innovative, effective and inspirational teaching and learning for student teachers at postgraduate level. You will have demonstrable skills to show that you will be committed in ensuring that our student teachers are well supported and enjoy their experience with us.

This is a part time position working 7.4 hours per week (0.2fte).
