We are currently seeking an Associate Lecturer to join the Product Design team to work 300 hours over 15 weeks in semester 2, to commence in January 2019. The post holder will play a key role in developing Product Design programmes and will contribute to the delivery of a number of new programmes in the purpose built, state of the art, Engineering and Digital Technology Park.

The post holder will have specialist and wide-ranging knowledge across the field of Product Design and ideally will have experience of Product Design in growth areas, such as Sports Technology, Consumer Electronics, Eco-Design, Wearable Technologies, Smart Materials and Consumer Product Design.

You are likely to be qualified to at least Masters level in a relevant discipline and/or have relevant equivalent industry experience and have an in-depth understanding of Product Design. You will be required to deliver high quality teaching and have the ability to enthuse and motivate students.

This position will require a Disclosure and Barring Check (DBS) which will be undertaken by the University on appointment.
