An exciting opportunity has become available to join the Scott Dunn Finance team in Chichester. We are looking for a AAT fully qualified Resort Accountant, with 2-3 years experience in a similar role.

The role is responsible for all operational finance accounting for the Scott Dunn resort programme both chalets (in France and Austria), villas (Majorca and South of France) and SDE Kids Clubs (resorts across the Mediterranean).

The main responsibilities will involve completing weekly accounts to capture expenditure on food & beverage spend, paying and recording all locally managed suppliers plus some centralised accounting functions relating to the resort programme.  In addition, there will be a number of projects aimed at improving the overall controls and efficiency in resort.

Responsibilities

Resort accounts Working with various resort managers to capture weekly spend
Resort Invoices Processing of invoices on SUN.
Cash and card handling Weekly card top ups for chefs & managers, Travel floats for staff travelling out to resort from UK.
Bank accounts Responsible for European Bank Accounts (Credit Agricole, Raiffasien, Banque Populaire)
Resort payroll Monthly overseas payroll reconciliation
Taxes Preparation of European VAT returns (TVA, UST and IVA)
Property costs Payment and management of European property costs
SDE Accounting Improve SDE accounting processes
