A Lewes based chartered accountancy firm are looking to appoint a temporary accountant for a 6-8 week period to assist with an increasing work load.

About You:

• Have recent or current experience of working within an accountancy practice
• Possibly AAT qualified although not essential
• Experience in the preparation of sole trader, company and charity annual accounts
• Bookkeeping and preparation of quarterly VAT returns
• Maintaining statutory records
• Able to commit to the length of the assignment
• Experience of using CCH accounts production software would be advantageous

The firm is centrally based with easy access to public transport and a short walk from Lewes train station.
