We are looking for a Business Systems Specialist to play a major role in the maintenance and development of core business systems in the key areas of Finance, Human Resources and Payroll. Reporting to the Head of Management Information Systems, you will work as part of a team responsible for the University's corporate business systems, web and database services, and systems integration projects.

Using your excellent communication, analytical and technical skills, you will work closely with staff in Finance, Human Resources and Payroll to provide ongoing support, analysis, technical development and integration of business systems and solutions. You will be responsible for a whole breadth of work from initial analysis through to selection, development, delivery and support of the finished solution and play a major role in development projects such as the online payments system currently being implemented in the University.

You will have a proven track record in systems analysis, use of query languages (SQL) and programming.

Experience of working with Finance, Human Resource or Payroll systems would be a distinct advantage.
