As an Assessment and Intervention Team Manager with a social work qualification in Arun West, you will be responsible for the performance and management of staff including social workers. The focus of your work will be in ensuring that children receive high quality and timely assessments of need and in leading our vision of a more joined up approach to working with children in need and those with child protection plans. Working as part of an integrated management team at a local level, you will also work with management colleagues from a range of professional disciplines across the county to establish new ways of working together. As an Assessment and Intervention Team Manager with a background in education, social work, education welfare or health, in Mid Sussex, you will drive local collaborative working and the establishment of integrated practice across your area supporting the development of creative services to meet the needs of more children at an earlier stage.
