Do you have payroll bureau experience but want to gain more experience and responsibility within your role?

A payroll bureau within a chartered accountancy practice with a strong payroll department are seeking an additional payroll officer to run client payrolls. Working as part of a friendly, sociable team you will help meet client payroll deadlines using STAR payroll software.

Working and building relationships with a portfolio of clients you will be responsible for:

• Collating payroll information on Star payroll software
• Processing starters and leavers on STAR
• Issuing payments by BACS transfers and autopay
• Submitting Payroll PAYE and NI information to HMRC to deadlines
• Issuing auto enrolment pension details to pension providers
• Uploading and creating payroll journals
• Preparing quotations on payroll and pensions for new clients

Experience

• Previous knowledge of payroll bureau or having worked in an accountancy practise managing client payrolls
• Previous experience of STAR payroll software
• Good communication skills
