B2B Marketing Manager

An experienced proactive B2B Marketing Manager is needed to join a boutique corporate finance firm focused on the Telecoms, Media and Technology sector, based in Chichester, working a minimum of 20 hours per week.
 
Working as part of a small friendly team, the successful candidate will take responsibility for the creation and implementation of the company Marketing Plan and regularly input into the Management Team.
 
This is very much a 'sleeves rolled up', hands-on 'doing' role for someone with strong technical skills, plus the organisational ability to ensure the company marketing plan is implemented on time and to budget. The successful candidate will be required to manage all marketing functions which will target our market, including website development & management, social media, event management, marketing material design and client profile management.  The successful candidate will have a proactive and friendly personality with strong business communication and interpersonal skills and enjoy being in a busy, varied role as a key part of a small office team.
 
Job description:
 
Marketing Plan & reporting
Understanding company vision and business plan objectives.
Development and implementation of company Marketing Plan.
Monthly reporting.

 
Market intelligence
Understand and interpret the TMT Landscape, who the key players and emerging companies are.
Working closely with the Research Team, design a profile for our ideal client market, both acquirers and business sellers.
Working with the CRM system, create data lists and reports for our deal makers to work with and for event invitation lists.
Conduct market research, talking to our clients over the telephone.
Providing weekly & monthly reporting.
 
Event organisation and management
Track and diarise events scheduled in our space.
Design and implement a marketing event plan, to include B2B networking events and luncheon's, sport based events etc.
Liaison with our marketing partners, guest speakers and event venues.
Design and distribution of marketing event materials.
Event invitation and attendance management.
Management of the Marketing budget.
Providing weekly & monthly reporting.
 
Communication and website
Development of a client communication programme, to include newsletters and press releases etc.
Website updates and on-going development, to include; creation of case studies, testimonials, news pages and refreshing webpage content.
Social media updates, to include LinkedIn.
Management of and liaison with media/marketing agencies to ensure all digital marketing is delivered to standard, timeliness and within budget.
Providing weekly & monthly reporting.
 
Skills & experience:
Strong IT skills, to include Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook to a very high standard of proficiency.
Experience of working within a CRM system.
Strong design capabilities.
Excellent English and content writing skills.
Marketing degree with previous experience of working at a high level.

Excellent analytical skills.
Well organised with good time management.
Articulate with strong verbal and communication skills.
Creative thinker with good problem-solving skills.
A team player with the ability to work on your own and within a multidisciplinary team.
 
In return, we are offering a competitive Hourly Rate of between £28,000 to £38,000 pa pro rata, depending on skills/experience. Working hours/days can be negotiated to suit the ideal candidate and an element of home-working may also be considered.
