We are currently seeking a part time Department Administrator to join our friendly and supportive administrative team in the Department of Childhood, Social Work and Social Care based at our Chichester campus. This post will be covering a period of internal secondment.  You will provide efficient, effective and professional administrative support to the staff, students and other stakeholders in the Department, whilst working collaboratively to enhance administrative processes and the student and staff experience.
You will have a good general education to A level or equivalent, with a high standard of literacy numeracy and attention to detail. Working within a small administrative team you will need good interpersonal and communication skills, including a professional telephone manner and the ability to build relationships, respect confidentiality, negotiate and influence others. You will be approachable, adaptable and conscientious with a strong student focus.
Previous administrative experience is crucial, as is the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage and prioritise workload.  Experience of processing claims and invoicing would be an advantage
Hours of work will be by agreement, and could be worked over 4 or 5 days but must be able to work Wednesdays (to 5pm) and Thursdays and Fridays.
