The role:

· Collation and preparation of salaries on a monthly basis, maintain records of sickness, holidays and maternity leave and ensure payment is made to employees.
· Production of P60's by due date. Monthly submission of FPS and EPS to HMRC by due date
· Calculation of pension contributions for both schemes, deduction from payroll and payment of contributions to pension scheme providers by due date
· Liaising with Company bankers to place funds on deposit or open/close bank accounts and maintain Bank records regarding signatories etc
· To support the Payroll Manager in all aspects of work and to add value by discussing and suggesting new work methods
· To deputise for Payroll Manager in their absence (which includes covering their term time contract)
· Data entry onto multiple systems
· Responsibilities - Accounts
· Processing of purchase invoices
· Raising sales invoices to our customers
· Making supplier payments via Bacs, bank transfers and cheques and foreign supplier payments via Money Corp
· Sending sales invoices to our customers via email
· Reconciling bank statements and customer float accounts when required
 
Skills required:

We'd like you to have excellent attention to detail;
· be numerical; organised;
· Flexible; self- motivating and a good team player.
· You should be able to demonstrate a sound, in depth knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook.
· Ideally you will have experience in Payroll backed up by a recognised qualification, or be willing to undertake one.
· Driving licence and own car is ideal due to our location.
