The post holder will support the Programme Coordinator with the delivery of the Storytelling and Folk module.  The role will be mainly focused on providing academic context and storytelling key skills including comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the oral storytelling tradition and creative writing skills specific for this module.
The working year will be primarily teaching, teaching-related administration, tutorials and assessment activities in such proportions as may be decided by the Programme Coordinator and Head of Department.  You will need to possess a comprehensive knowledge and experience of storytelling with an emphasis on a practical perspective in teaching and assessing.
It's essential you have an extensive knowledge of a broad range of storytelling / folk repertoire and a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of the oral storytelling tradition and creative writing skills specific for this module.
