Great opportunity for aspiring chefs!

We are looking for a qualified Commis Chef to come join our friendly team at Chichester Yacht club, in the stunning environment of Chichester Marina, 3 miles south of Chichester, for 4 to 5 days a week.

This position is perfect for someone hard working and enthusiastic about food that is interested in learning how to cook to the highest standards. 

If you're a team player and are passionate about being a chef with a strong work ethic then this could be a great opportunity for you, as we have a wealth of knowledge to share and there are great opportunities for development whilst climbing the ranks of our team. 

Working to the Head Chef, duties include covering all aspects of food preparation, as well as hygiene, health and safety and supervision of junior staff.

CYC is a private members' club with restaurant service and functions including weddings, anniversaries and parties.

Confidence, flexibility and good team-working skills are essential, together with a polite and friendly manner for dealing with customers. Experience of banqueting and functions is an advantage but not essential.
