Team Manager – Children Social Care Performance Reporting CRS00114 Location: Chichester, West Sussex Full-time, 37 hours/week Permanent £ 44,294- £ 47,450 Closing date 28th August 2017 Interview 11th September 2017
Context
WSCC is looking for a great performance team manager with the knowledge and passion to support the organisation in delivering good and ultimately outstanding services to children and young people.
About the role
The role acts as the key advisor on children social care performance to the organisation and reports directly to the Head of Performance & Intelligence. The role is key to support the Directorate for Family Operations with the development, implementation and interpretation of meaningful performance reports in order to identify key strategic areas of improvement. To be successful in this role it is important to work with a variety of stakeholders across the organisation and to present information confidently and concisely at various board meetings.
Championing an improvement culture, you'll work closely together with the Insight & Intelligence team, Public Health Social Research Unit, and the Directorate for Family Operations. You will be pro-actively seeking new ideas and approaches in producing performance insight, benchmarking and improving data quality. In addition, you'll deliver high quality information, research & analysis to understand cross cutting issues and forecast demand. A key part will also be the demand management of report requests.
About you
You are passionate about data and have a talent for bringing operational performance data to life. You’ll have leadership experience in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment related to Children Social Care. You are experienced in working in a matrix management environment and have strong project management skills to organise workloads and deliver on time at a high quality.
You have a proven, strong track record in leading and delivering creative and actionable intelligence and insight within Children Social Care to help operational managers understanding their services. You’ll be able to inspire and connect our performance analysts with children social care managers to provide true Insight and Intelligence that enables operational teams to understand and improve outcomes for our customers. Ideally, you are familiar with statutory reporting requirements for Children Social Care and related areas. Knowledge of Mosaic (Corelogic)/PowerBI would be of advantage.
