In recognition of the success within the University and the Faculty of Technology, the Schools of Engineering and Civil Engineering and Surveying are looking to expand their Technical Support Team.  This is a unique opportunity to start a career as a Technical Manager and be part of this exciting expansion contributing to these diverse and vibrant Schools within the Faculty of Technology.

We are seeking to appoint highly motivated staff who want to contribute and make a difference in supporting the education of the future generations of engineers.

The successful candidate will require management experience and have the ability to manage technical teams, ensuring the delivery of a high quality technical support service to the Schools. They will have experience in working with a diverse range of engineering skills, spanning disciplines across Civil Engineering and Surveying or Mechanical and Electronic Engineering areas.  Additionally our longer term aim is to employ apprentices in the future and the post-holder will oversee their training, support and assessment.
