Do you have the skills, experience and enthusiasm to join a successful and dedicated team of ten Advisory Teachers and Liaison Officers?

The EMTAS team are looking to recruit 2 Advisory Teachers to promote the inclusion of English additional language learners (EAL), Black and Minority Ethnic (BAME), and Gypsy Roma Traveller (GRT) pupils. By offering guidance and training to schools and settings, the team aims to raise the attainment of these children and young people.

You will have:

• experience of closing the performance gap for vulnerable pupils.
• a high level of knowledge of the needs of EAL pupils and the methodology regarding the teaching of English as an additional language.
• outstanding communication skills both oral and written.
• the ability to challenge schools and take initiative in order to provide effective inclusion for targeted pupils.
