The University is seeking an experienced facilities professional with a proven track record of successfully managing teams and contracts in a fast paced, customer service environment, ensuring the delivery of proactive services which exceed customer expectation.
This post holder is a key member of the University's Estate Management Team, with significant responsibility for Facilities at both campuses at the tactical and operational level, including health and safety, sustainability, and budgetary control. The post combines practical "hands on" management direction to a variety of staff and contractor groups with planning to ensure the efficient and cost effective provision of a range of services at our Chichester and Bognor Regis campuses.  It is essential that you can demonstrate the following:
An experienced, flexible team manager with excellent interpersonal and communication skills who can lead and motivate. 
Membership of the British Institute of Facilities Management or similar relevant professional institute.
The ability to work successfully in a fast moving work environment which requires daily multi-tasking and the ability to act decisively in reactive situations. The post holder is expected to take drive forward new initiatives and developments with a minimum of supervision to optimise performance, meet targets and where possible reduce costs.
