Head of Community Activities and Wellbeing 37 hours per week (full time) Salary 38,000 per annum rising after 6 months

We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced person to add value to our growth activities by identifying new commercial opportunities and managing existing services cost effectively. The post holder will have a have an entrepreneurial mind set and leadership qualities. The ideal person will be a creative strategist with excellent organisational abilities This is a senior role within a major local organisation with a 2m turnover, responsibility for projects with 1m turnover. The post holder will lead, direct and manage a range of services providing health and wellbeing services in the community within in this department. There is a major tender due. There are currently 8 projects within this dept. and there is scope for redesign and growth. The post holder will require operational and financial acumen to ensure current and future operations are fit for purpose, are relevant and meet the market need. That continued delivery is on a sustainable and viable basis and can evidence positive outcomes and value in the market we are operating in We anticipate the post holder will have managed projects with a budget of 500K plus and been directly responsible for setting up and managing and/or closing major projects.
