We are on the lookout for a talented Business Development Executive to join our growing team based in Chichester, West Sussex.
As a Business Development Executive, your role would be to help our new and existing customers to get the most out of their experience of Linnworks, our online B2B software.
In this 360-degree role you will be the face of Linnworks, on-boarding new/existing clients and assisting them during first contact. You'll also be the point of contact for service-related queries via telephone, live chat and e-mails. You will be expected to use your abilities to connect, nurture and demonstrate to your pool of leads and interested contacts.
Key Responsibilities.
- First point of contact for new customers and warm/hot leads.
- Deal with up to 150 qualified leads per month.
- Outbound / Inbound Sales (i.e. inbound soft selling technique).
- Requirement analysis and solution sales.
- Providing a high quality customer experience (i.e. account management).
- Helping the company to meet expectations for growth.
- Assisting with marketing and promotional activities to attract new leads/ customers.
- Ensuring customer questions and complaints are appropriately dealt with, or escalated.
- Working with partner companies to refer business and resolve questions.
- A willingness to take on special projects (gain new expertise and responsibilities and grow your role in the company).
- Availability to work late shifts (from 1:00pm to 9:00pm GMT/BST).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities.
- 1-year minimum experience in a Sales / Business Development / Customer Service role.
- Target/deadline driven.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and social skills
- Able to multi-task and work in a pressured environment.
- Attention to detail.
- Adaptable to new challenges.
- Enthusiastic and driven to succeed.
- Good understanding of 'time management' and 'prioritisation'.
- Ability to speak the customer's language and breakdown technical concepts into layman's terms.
Other Desired Skills
- Prior experience in SaaS or other software related B2B sales roles
- Experience with 'Salesforce' or similar CRM software.
- Experience with 'HubSpot' or similar CRM/ Marketing software.
- Social Media and Content writing.
- Face to Face Sales Experience.
