An exciting opportunity has arisen in the role of Service Development Worker based in Chichester, West Sussex County Council within the Adults' Services Quality and Improvement Team. This is an innovative time in Adults' Services at a time of change and development in Adults’ Services, this post will support the innovation and delivery of adult social care in West Sussex.

You will provide advice and guidance on the application of Adult Services policies and procedures that promotes good practice, and also contribute to the development of strategic long term planning, policies, procedures and guidance, taking into account the views of a range of stake holders.

The role will work closely with Adults’ Services Operational teams and other key stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of service improvements. The role will also involve working with Business and Practice Leads in order to contribute to the effective operation and development of IT case recording systems.

Applicants will preferably hold a professional qualification in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing, or have significant knowledge and experience within the field of Adult Social Care.
