YMCA DOWNSLINK GROUP Project Worker - OLAC Burgess Hill, Crawley & Horsham 37.5 hours per week Fixed term contract until 30th September 2017 21,119 per annum

We are recruiting a full time Project Worker to work within our intensive supported housing projects that provide housing to Older Looked After Children aged 16 - 18 years old, with support needs. The role will include key-working individuals, as well as engaging the young people who live within the project and supporting them to develop socially, personally and spiritually in order that they may grow in confidence and independence. Experience working with a similar client group and an understanding of the needs and challenges posed by these young people is essential. Experience delivering group work sessions is desirable. This role will include working evenings, some weekends and providing 2 sleep-in covers per week. Due to this role being based in Burgess Hill, but involving regular travel to Crawley & Horsham, it is essential that you hold a valid driving license and have access to your own transport.
