The University of Chichester established the multi-academy trust in 2013, with the aim of supporting schools in Hampshire and West Sussex.  The Trust currently includes eight academies within its family with further growth planned over the next five years to c30 academies.  
A new post has been created for a Financial Accountant within the Trust's Finance Team to support the Director of Financial and Commercial Services based at the Bognor Regis Campus.  The post holder will take the lead and play an active part in the production of Trust and Academy financial information, ensuring EFA compliance in line with the Trust's assurance framework. 
You will also be actively involved in the work on academy conversion and the setting up of new academies, leading on TPS and LGPS administrator regulations and liaising with a variety of stakeholders internally and externally.
Applicants will need to be a part qualified accountant, and must have at least three year's relevant Financial Accounting experience.  Evidence of analysis and interpretation of data for compilation of financial accounts and statutory returns is essential, as is experience of supporting year end reporting.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a proven ability and confidence to effectively question and challenge individuals at all levels within an organisation.
This role is for 30 hours a week
