The Learning Resource Centres are placed at the heart of the University of Chichester at both our Bishop Otter Campus, Chichester, and the Bognor Regis Campus. This is an exciting opportunity to join the University of Chichester during a period of growth and change as we develop our new Engineering and Digital Technology Park and grow our library service provision.

We are seeking a part time Electronic Resources Librarian who will be responsible for supporting the development of the Library's electronic information environment, the co-ordination of acquisitions and cataloging functions relating to the library management system, and the line management of Information Assistants.

The post holder will also contribute to the development and documentation of best practice in the use of Library systems and technologies throughout the library.  They will also support the project management and introduction of new services and deliver training and development in relation to electronic and information services activities.

The successful candidate will hold a recognised postgraduate qualification in library management and must demonstrable experience of working in a virtual learning environment and managing a library management system. Applicants must be customer focused with communication skills that enable you to create good working relationships at all levels and across a multi-disciplinary team.  Previous experience of working in a Higher Education or academic library environment is desirable.

This role is part time 18.5 hours per week
