£30,000 - £36,000 depending on experience

A Chartered Accountants based in Chichester are looking for an Accounts & Audit Senior to join their friendly team. The Accounts & Audit Senior will be responsible for the effective completion of audits and account on a portfolio of clients.

Skills required:-

• Accounting and Audit experience with sound general practice background
• Understanding of covering audit, accountancy and tax supplemented with experience of partnerships and sole traders
• Be either qualified or part qualified ACA or ACCA
• Have knowledge of Sage Line 50 and be fully conversant with MS Word and Excel
• Have strong organisational and time management skills
• Be highly accurate

Duties will include, but will not be limited to:-

• To take lead on audits of charities and limited companies, from planning the assignments through to completion for review by the Manager or Partner
• To prepare non-audit limited company and partnership/sole traders accounts files for review by Manager or Partner
• To complete business and corporation tax computations for review
• Supervise trainees as required
• To build a rapport and maintain regular contact with client by telephone, email, letter and in person
• To work unsupervised and undertake ad hoc projects
