We are seeking a Process Technician to work for our well established client in the Chichester area, the successful applicant will have excellent analytical skills to analyse data and monitor trends, and be comfortable in working with figures and statistics. Previous experience of working within a food manufacturing environment would be an advantage.

Good qualifications would be required including GCSEs in Maths, English, Science/Chemistry Grade C or above. You will be an excellent team player and have strong communication skills along with experience working on own initiative or in a position of responsibility and have good IT skills including Microsoft Office.

Duties will include conducting heat penetration testing on new and existing products, conducting temperature distribution testing on retorts, evaluating thermal process deviations, maintaining thermal process deviation records, keeping inventory, maintaining & calibration thermal process equipment, developing and maintaining an improved understanding of site process capabilities to benefit product yields, weight variance and product costing accuracy.

Hours will be Mon to Thurs 14:00 to 22.00 and Fridays 12:00 to 18:00 extra hours may be required on occasions.

Client offers a competitive salary of £20,100 plus 25% shift allowance uplift of £5,000.
