We are looking for a highly skilled and committed individual, based in a small commissioning team, to work across West Sussex to improve the lives of people with learning disabilities and people with autism and the services they use. In particular the role will involve:

-Taking a lead around partnership working, including supporting the Learning Disability and Autism Partnership Boards, ensuring the voice of local people who use services is central to the work that we do

-Working with a range of partners to deliver against the national Transforming Care agenda

-Supporting the programme of transformation across adults and children’s services, to deliver a Lifelong pathway of care and support

-Analysing local needs and planning for future service requirements

-Evaluating and improving the performance of services and outcomes for customers

The successful candidate will need to be resourceful, resilient and self-sufficient in a busy environment of ever changing priorities and will also possess excellent project management, communication and IT skills.

Use of a car is essential.
