Chichester Yacht Club is a private members' Club with bar, restaurant and functions suite overlooking Chichester Harbour.

Working to the Hospitality Manager, this post will be responsible for supervision of the day-to-day operation of the bar and restaurant, and assist in supervising functions. Qualifications and experience in the hospitality sector are essential. Smart appearance, reliability and punctuality are important attributes. The role is customer facing, requiring a friendly approach to members and guests, and the ability to deal with enquiries, problems and complaints. You will be required to operate tills and cash up accurately, supervise part time and casual staff, assist in recruitment and training, and ensure building security.

You must have experience in cellar management, stock rotation and stock-take, health and safety requirements, and knowledge of licensing laws.

After training, you will also be expected to supervise Functions. Flexibility in hours and shift patterns is essential, and the location of the Club requires staff to have their own transport. Salary according to qualifications and experience.
