25 hours per week (39 weeks)

Mill Chase Academy is seeking an enthusiastic Pupil Support and Guidance Assistant to work as part of a friendly and supportive Pastoral Team. In addition to being the Academy's primary first-aider, you will significantly contribute to a wide range of support provision for students' pastoral welfare. Liaising with colleagues and other third party agencies you will help students overcome barriers to learning in order to achieve their full potential.

With good interpersonal and communication skills, you will be able to develop positive working relationships with students, parents and carers, working with colleagues as part of a highly effective pastoral team. In addition you will have a general awareness of supporting the personal and academic needs of students with experience of working with young people in a relevant environment.
