Are you passionate about working with young people to raise their aspirations and make progression into apprenticeships, further and higher education a real option? If so this could be the role for you. You don't need to have worked in a university before, you do, however, need to be excited by working with young people in deprived areas and have the ability to inspire. Ideally you will also have a successful track record of relevant work in FE Colleges or VI Forms with young people advising them on next steps. It goes without saying that you will be approachable and have the skill-set that enables you to hit the ground running, your communication skills will be exceptional as will your time and project management skills. You will need to have the ability to understand the 14-19, and Higher Education policy context, including the opportunities and constraints for Higher Education Institutions.  The post holder will need to work flexibly and co-operatively across internal and external teams, as well as using your own initiative are crucial to this role. The role is a fixed term, part time role based on 37 hours per week over 39 weeks for up to 12 months to cover maternity leave.
