Goodwood's world-renowned Motorsport events showcase arguably the greatest car content in the world. Every year we strive to create new and unique moments for our guests, and to do this we have a team of dedicated motorsport enthusiasts who spend their working days absorbed in all things automotive, preparing for the Festival of Speed, Revival and Members' Meeting.
We currently have two vacancies in this team; a Planner and a Junior Planner, both of whom will be central to the creation, co-ordination, implementation and delivery of the vehicular content that makes up our headline events. Both roles will be responsible for researching and devising motorsport themes, liaising with clubs and organisations, and maintaining an up to date vehicle database. You will also be responsible for the preparation of documents, correspondence, and instructions issued to all competitors. We are looking for an experienced Planner to join the team and hit the ground running, and a Junior Planner who, while less experienced, will have a willing desire to learn.
A life-affirming passion for all things automotive (past and present) is essential for this role, along with boundless enthusiasm and superb organisational skills. Previous experience in planning would be an advantage, but isn't essential. Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure in a small team is also very important. The role requires flexibility in working hours, especially during the event season.
