Coastal West Sussex Mind is a local mental health charity committed to promoting mental well-being in local communities and supporting the independence and recovery of individuals we provide support to. We are looking for a support worker to work in our Living Well day services for older adults living with mental health needs and dementia. Within these services the role of the living well support worker is to encourage and stimulate service users, promoting their independence and contributing to the achievement of goals outlined in personal support plans. Also, to support the safe and effective running of services, attending to the comfort, safety and well-being of individuals using our services.

Successful applicants will need to have good literacy, IT and verbal communication skills. You will have experience and proven skills of working with the public and/or in a customer service setting, ideally with vulnerable and/or older people and/or people with mental health needs or dementia.
