You will have a solid communications experience and be self-motivated, be a natural people person – a true team player who’s comfortable working with colleagues at all levels; someone who isn’t afraid to make their voice heard.

Sharing ideas and coming up with innovative new ways to make it easier for everyone to communicate effectively. Have good written skills across print and digital media and be able to write engaging copy whether it’s for the media, social media, websites, newsletters or corporate and community magazines.

You will have good organisational and analytical skills and be able to monitor and evaluate the success of what you and others in the team do.

You will also have the ability to work with people at all levels within the organisation, from front line staff through to the Cabinet Member and senior council officers. You will be confident to organise, attend and present at events.
